Join GlobalWE on Sunday, March 28th at 12 p.m. EST for a discussion of the movie North Country (2005), which is available here, on YouTube for a small fee.
This discussion is the second in our 2021 Movie Club series.
North Country is a 2005 American drama film directed by Niki Caro, and tells the "fictionalized account of the first major successful sexual harassment case in the United States, Jenson vs. Eveleth Mines."
Support the GlobalWE mission while in the comfort of your home!
Each month GlobalWE announces a new film that is widely available on platforms. We ask that you watch the film at your leisure from the comfort of your home and then join us online, on the given date, for a lively discussion. In our virtual gathering we will discuss the film, raise questions, and advance the mission of GlobalWE: the empowerment of women through education, dialogue and connection among individuals working for women's rights and freedoms worldwide. We hope to see you then!
