On Wednesday, July 25th, Harvard GlobalWE will be hosting this free online event from 12pm-1:30pm Eastern Time.

In January 2018, GlobalWE Board Member Tara Abrahams traveled to Jordan as part of a UNICEF USA delegation to visit refugee camps, including Za’atari, where as many as 80,000 refugees live and work—and long to return to their homeland. Join Tara to learn more about the current refugee crisis, and the particular challenges faced by girls and women in the camps, including lack of access to quality education, the prevalence of child marriage, and a shortage of economic opportunities.
