Join Harvard Alumni for Global Women's Empowerment for our summer Movie/Book Club Discussion on Persepolis, available across a variety of platforms, including many local libraries.
 

Persepolis: The Story of a Childhood, by Marjane Satrapi, is a memoir of growing up during the Islamic Revolution in Iran — powerfully told through a black-and-white comic strip format. It has earned recognition as a New York Times Notable Book, Time Magazine's Best Comix of the Year, and a San Francisco Chronicle and Los Angeles Times bestseller.
